Food Orders need to be placed the day before train departure:
- If you have already purchased a train ticket, please call 541-399-8939 to add an order for your upcoming trip at least 1 day before your departure.
- If you are going to purchase a train ticket, you can make your menu selections during the checkout process.
When the train stops at The Fruit Company, orders will be available for pick-up before getting back on the train.
TIP: when you hear the first train whistle calling passengers back for boarding at The Fruit Company, that’s a good time to pick up your food if you haven’t already. You can enjoy your meal at the picnic tables outside or take your order on board the train for the return trip back to Hood River.
Note: there are also beverages available for purchase at The Fruit Company.

Ham & Swiss Sandwich – $18.99
Ham and swiss cheese with tomato and red onion, served on a kaiser roll with pickles on the side. Served with potato salad and chocolate-covered blueberries.
Grinder Sandwich – $18.99
Ham, salami, pepperoni with provolone cheese, topped with salad shreds & onions on a kaiser roll. Pepperoncini and grinder sauce served on the side, along with potato salad and chocolate-covered blueberries.
Turkey Sandwich – $18.99
Turkey and swiss cheese with tomato and red onion, served on a kaiser roll. Mayo served on the side, along with potato salad and chocolate-covered blueberries.
Veggie Sandwich – $18.99
Fresh veggies served on a kaiser roll with hummus, potato salad, and chocolate-covered blueberries on the side.
PB&J Sandwich – $10.99
Good ol’ fashioned Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwich served with a cup of mixed fruit and chocolate-covered blueberries on the side.
