Awesome Day Excursion

The group I was with had an awesome time on the scenic train ride and visiting the small community of Parksdale. The views were great especially of Mount Hood. Must see is the museum in Parksdale and there a few places to eat and drink. I will take this ride again!

Fun Experience in Beautiful Country Setting!!

We took our grandson (15.5) in the Murder Mystery Train and enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch in a lovely little park. The Western aspect was fun, with characters roaming around from the station through the end. The scenery is lovely as Oregon in Summer is. We give it a hearty Thumbs Up!! Definitely worth the time and money!!

A magical holiday experience

We just enjoyed our 3rd annual train ride to Christmastown and it was a blast. Our 4 year old daughter loves it and we were blessed with a beautiful dusting of slow that left everything feeling like the North Pole. We will be back next year for sure!

Fun for the whole family

We took our Mom on the Western Bandit Robbery train excursion. She really enjoyed it! The seats were comfy, the scenery was beautiful and the rocking of the train was so relaxing. The characters came thru our train to "rob" us, followed by the law and a "shady, swindling" magician. He was excellent! The characters spent a lot of time in our car with us. We also had 45 minutes to spend in the little town of Parkdale, to enjoy a little lunch or wonder thru the museum.

Riding the Rails!

I love taking the excursions on the Mt. Hood Railroad! They have a variety of them, so one is never bored! We have taken many seasonal excursions, and the Polar Express, and Trail Robbery. I have also taken my Campfire group on one. We stop in the little town of Parkdale for a ramble and ice-cream. Always a joyful experience.

A really fun day

My husband and I road the train for a few hours to the base of Mt. Hood. The entertainment was a train "robbery", and it was really fun. The ride was beautiful and to be at the base of this amazing mountain was incredible. It was just a really fun time. We sat in the "diamond class" which has windows all around and is on the upper deck of the train, I think it was worth the extra cost and would sit in this class again. The service was really good, as well.

Fabulous Experience!

We drove to Oregon as we love to vacation here; this trip is one of the last to OR for my elderly mother. I surprised her with tickets to their Champagne Brunch this past weekend. We could not have asked for better service, or more delicious food, and every staff member we encountered went above and beyond for us. All staff were more than accommodating, with a very pleasant and helpful attitude. We enjoyed the whole experience, and would highly recommend this activity.

Great way to view the scenery and Mt Hood!

We got tickets for the vista dome car. We had great views of the countryside and Mt Hood. The lunch was topnotch. It tasted very good and the servers were very professional. The extra money we paid for the train car and food was well worth the money. The conductor and narrator gave lots of info about the train and the countryside.
