Depending on your booking time, you’ll start with either the trolley or the train. After a special layover at The Fruit Company, you’ll switch to the other mode of transport.

The trolley offers an open-air experience, while the train provides a cozy, enclosed environment. This combination is a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Enjoy panoramic views of the Hood River Valley as you travel through this beautiful region. 

Scenic Stops   

Your journey offers several scenic stops: 

• The Fruit Company: Explore and shop for locally sourced gourmet snacks. You can also enjoy guided orchard and factory tours. 

• Panorama Point: Enjoy the stunning views of snow-capped Mt. Adams to the north and Mt. Hood to the south.   

• Mount Hood Winery: Visit this renowned winery to taste exceptional local wines and learn about the winemaking process.  

• Hope Ranch Lavender Farm: Stroll through fragrant lavender fields and learn about this beautiful plant. 

Friendly Guides   

Our knowledgeable and friendly guides will accompany you throughout the journey, providing fascinating insights into the area’s history, geography, and agriculture. They will ensure you have a magnificent time meandering past rivers, orchards, and vineyards.  

 Tips for Your Trip   

• Arrival Time: Arrive at least 45 minutes before departure to allow time for parking and pre-boarding activities.   

• Parking: Pre-pay for parking when making your reservation to save time.   

• Food & Beverages: Pre-order sandwiches and wine tasting. The Fruit Company offers seasonal fruits, gourmet snacks, and refreshing beverages for purchase. Feel free to bring your own picnic lunch but note that alcohol is not permitted outside.   

• Seating: Our staff assigns all seats. For groups, book your tickets together or mention the names of your party in the comments. 

• Accessibility: Parlor seating accommodates wheelchairs, but please note the door width is 30 in. The trolley is wheelchair-friendly, with a maximum of two wheelchairs at a time. Please inform us of any boarding assistance needs in advance. 

• Pets: No pets are allowed for health and safety reasons.
